The Blizzard in Numbers
49.5 - The number of inches of snow we received in the last 6 days.
View down the street
Backyard view - There is a pool in there somewhere!
Oh there's the diving board...sort of
44 - The number of points I am allotted a day for WW. I have been using them pretty much every day. Blizzards make me hungry.
35 - The number of weekly WW Flex points I am allowed per week. I still have 17 pints left which is a miracle considering how much I have wanted to munch this week.
20 - The number of minutes it takes to dress the kiddos in their snow gear.
19 - The number of minutes the kiddos want to spend out in the snow.
Kari and Noah out in the snow
9 - The time of day we have been waking up in the morning.
And then it is all about the TV and the cartoons!
7 - The number of dinners I have not had to fix in the last week.
2 - The number of walls painted in the kiddos' room.
0 - The number of days of school the kiddos have attended this week.
Zero is also the amount of sanity I have left. We have been painting and trying to organize the kiddos' room and there is so much stuff that has to be thrown away and donated and I just want to get it out of the house! Not to mention we still need to buy another bed for the room. I will be glad when this snow is gone enough for us to be able to get out and be able to finish this project!

Some Things We Are Doing.....
.....that Do Not involved Dressing in Many Layers and Climbing over 3 Ft. of Snow!
We were finally able to get out today and headed to Wal-Mart. But, it was closed. So, we went to Target and bought some food and some things for the kiddos to do while they are stuck inside. Kari and Noah do not seem to like being out in the snow for very long. And when they are stuck inside, they whine and fight...a lot.
After Target we headed to Chick-Fil-A for some food and some exercise for Noah. We let him run around the play area for a while. He fell asleep in the van on the way home.
When we got home the kiddos colored with their Go Paint kits and then played with Play Doh for a long time. Long enough for me to take a nap! They also put together their new puzzles. The Strawberry Shortcake one was scratch and sniff. Kari was excited about that. I told her to be thankful the other one wasn't scratch and sniff. It was Curious George. Noah said it is was it would have smelled like armpit. Or pooh since monkeys are pooh flingers. Ha!
Noah made a Krabby Patty
Kari made a burrito
This is what Noah thought of the Super Bowl......
Beach Party!!!

Snowcalypse 2010
It started snowing around 12 PM on Friday and did not stop until 4 PM on Saturday. We got a record amount of 30 inches of snow!! It was so beautiful when it first started and even as it was continuing to fall...but 30 inches is a bit much. The kiddos didn't get to play in it yesterday as the wind and snow made it difficult to play in, but they are out in it now. Well, they were. It took 20 minutes to get them dressed and they were out there for maybe 45 minutes!! I can remember heading out to play in the snow when we woke up in the morning and not coming in until dinnertime! The county already closed school for tomorrow and we are suppose to get 6-8 inches more on Tuesday/Wednesday!
Here are some photos from Saturday and today.....
This was the snow around 2 ft. Final measurement...30 inches!!
View down the street and it was still snowing.....
My parents' stairs to their apartment - a ski slope for the weekend
