Not Me Monday

This post was encouraged by McK Mama. Check out her site when you get a chance and start praying for baby Stellan.

So, here is my Not Me Monday post....

I did not wear the same shirt today as I wore Saturday without washing it.

I did not skip taking the kiddos to karate because I was wearing above mentioned shirt on Saturday and today and would be seeing the same people tonight as then.

I did not eat cake that stuck to the bottom of the pan directly from the pan in front of my pastor last night.

I did not skip brushing my teeth Friday and just chew a piece of gum instead.

I did not let Noah wear his favorite shirt three days in a row without washing it. Wonder where he gets that from??

I did not let Kari wear the fluorescent green hat that she got from Geoffrey Giraffe's Toy'sRUs b-day party on Saturday and her pink headband as a choker to church on Sunday or to CFA for dinner tonight.

I did not spray chocolaty water all over the wall of my host's kitchen at my last PChef party.

I did not feed my kiddos mac and cheese and hot dogs for lunch when I had Chinese.

I did not finish the bag of mini 3 Musketeers for breakfast today.

What didn't you do?

To Cut or Not to Cut.....

So normally my boys sport these type of hair dos......

And even though Rick has been know to sport some facial hair, he still keeps his hair relatively short.

So I am not so sure how this happened.....

.....but I love the curls and am having a hard time dealing with the fact that it probably needs to be cut soon.

I think it reminds me of when he was little and had the curls and I am just not ready to have him grow up so much. Especially since he has grown two inches in the last month!

But, if I were honest, this monkey really needs a hair cut!!*

Under Wear?!

So apparently Noah does not like wearing his underwear anymore.

This is what I found yesterday in the bathroom*.....

I asked him why he wasn't wearing his underwear and he said he just didn't like them anymore.

I am thinking they may be a bit too small, since they are 2T-3T and he is now starting to bust out of his summer clothes. Today, I put on a pair of jeans that had been falling off of him a few weeks ago and they were snug on his waist and almost high waters!

I think we need to go shopping!

Thankfully, he left his underwear on at Bible study today.

*Please ignore the fact that my bathroom needs a good cleanin'. And yes, I do read the Daily Bread devotional in the bathroom. That is the only room in the house where I can get peace and quiet and some spiritual food sometimes!

Without Pictures.....

Well, I was going to post some pictures from our beach trip this summer, but can't find them on the computer. I think Rick has them on a disc at church that he made for a slideshow of the teens. I am hoping to find it later this week.

Rick is getting ready for his business trip to Indianapolis with CFA tomorrow. He is pretty psyched about it. When Noah found out tonight he started crying. So Rick took him to run errands with him tonight. He feel asleep in the van.

Kari and I stayed home and watched Extreme MakeOver: Home Edition and The Lizzy McGuire Movie.

Now it is time for bed.

I will update you on the rest of the kiddos, starting homeschooling and the other exciting aspects of our lives later.

Maybe even with pictures!

A Preschool Field Trip to Pizzeria Uno's April 2008

So these pictures are from back in April and I honestly could not remember where they were. Then Rick downloaded some pics from his phone and ah ha! there they were! So, enjoy our field trip to Uno's. Much better than the bagel shop field trip that shall not be named.

This is all I wanted for my birthday! (He found this treasure the night before his birthday in Poppy's work area in the basement. It is the attachment for a paint stirrer. Noah kept saying before he went to his last bedtime as a 3 year old "All I want for my birthday is that yellow spinner." It spins like a top! Poppy gave it to him as he was finishing up his gifts. He was THRILLED!)

A four year old's favorite breakfast

Noah was so excited that he was finally four and old enough to go to Elevate with Kari! Elevate is big kiddos' church at LHC! So, we made some cupcakes to share during snack time.....
