Visions of the Bay

Rick took these pictures on the dock of one of the restaurants he and my Dad frequent for lunch while working. Can't you smell the salty water and hear the seagulls.

Signs of Fall

These pictures were taken by Rick on his way to work. The leaves changing colors is one thing I didn't realize how much I missed while we were in Texas. I especially love the second picture. The orange of the tree is simply gorgeous.

Homecoming 2006

Josh putting on his new dress shoes at the house.

All dressed up and so serious about it.

Josh putting the corsage on Kayla's wrist.

What a beautiful corsage (Mom picked out).

The cute couple poses for pictures.

Very cute close-up.

Josh and Ryan (Casey's boyfriend) waiting for
the girls to finish taking pictures.

Kayla and Casey - Beautiful in Black

The homecoming dance theme was a "Night in Paradise". Josh said he had a good time, even though he was the only white boy doing the Electric Slide.

Pumpkin Patch

Finally the pumpkin patch pictures! Everything was put on hold for a bit, but here are the pictures from Kari's preschool pumpkin patch field trip. Noah and I went with her class.

Kirsten, Jenni and Kari look at some large pumpkins.

Our tour guide, Teresa, explains to us about
the different types of pumpkins and gourds.

Noah was so happy to be with his sister.

Noah loved smelling the mums.

Teresa let the kiddos pick a gourd to touch.

Kari picked a bumpy one!

Kari loved seeing the pumpkins painted like
different characters.....

.....especially the Little Einstein ones!

Noah liked chasing the farmhouse cat.

He never did catch him, though.

The tractor Noah insisted on climbing on!

Cotton is grown on the farm.

Along with peanuts!

The horse named Ginger.

This chicken laid some brown eggs that morning.

The geese were so noisy and honked louder
than Teresa could talk!

Tom Turkey is protecting his girls.

These kids had a sign above their pen that said
"Like to Head Butt".

Kari and Noah got to go right into the field and
pick their pumpkins!

Noah's was still on the vine!

A group photo before the hayride.

Kari, Bryleigh and PJ on the hayride.

We had a fabulous time and would love to go again before it becomes a Christmas tree lot!
