Not Me Monday Kiddo Edition

This edition of Not Me Monday started by the McFabulous MckMama is all about the kiddos. Just so you know.....N is 5 years old, K is 7 year's old and J is 18 year's old.

N did not run around the house naked, freaking out one of K's friends.

N did not poop in the pool while we had friends over swimming.

N did not tell us that "This is the song where I fell in love with Hannah" while we where were listening to Made to Love by Toby Mac.

N and K did not eat $14 worth of raspberries in 24 hours.

K did not get cold pizza for her and Noah for breakfast on Saturday morning.

K did not say 'whatever' when I told her to sit in time out for being disrespectful to me.

N did not pee in the front yard and when reprimanded tell Rick that he did it because Rick told him not to come back in the house, but to play outside for a while.

J did not skip his GED test to go to the ocean with his girlfriend.

Berry Picking July 17, 2009

On Friday, we went berry picking with some of the other families of LHC. It was cloudy, but muggy and humid. We were hoping to be able to pick blueberries and raspberries and maybe get some peaches, but were only able to pick raspberries and sour cherries. The kiddos had a good time picking them and an even better time eating them! Here are some pictures.....

Noah's 5th Birthday 2009

On Monday, Noah celebrated his 5th birthday! Noah and Kari helped filled the treat bags for the party. We went to lunch with Daddy then came home and made cupcakes with Grammie. Then we decorated them. Neither Noah and Kari wanted to eat dinner, as they were excited about the pool party. They counted down the hours all day..."only 7 more hours....". The next day when Noah was praying over lunch he said, "And thank you God for yesterday. I had a good birthday. It was a really good day. Thank you". I think that says it all.

The 4th of July 2009

The Schindlers came over around noon to swim, grill, eat and celebrate the 4th. After that, we all headed to Jason and Jolene's for more food and fellowship. It was a very full, relaxing day which ended with the kiddos collasping into bed.

None of us were sure if we wanted to venture out and see fireworks, so Rick, Joe and Jason went and got a few of their own.....

We ended up trying to catch the fireworks at Ft. Meade. We watched from a parking lot near by since it was an hour wait to get into the base.
