I am trying something new this year and linking up to The Ultimate Blog Party 2012 . I am trying to stretch myself and expand my readers and encourage myself to write more, so.....
This is me.....
Although, my hair now a new shade of reddish brown, per my husband's request
These are my people who I primarily write about here since this is a family blog where we try to keep in touch with family in various states and sundry places....
I also have three other children, but they do not live at home anymore.....
Oldest son and grandson
Oldest daughter and littles
Middle son currently living in TX
I have started a new blog to begin recording my story, A Tapestry of Words and enjoy Pinterest probably way more than I should.
I am a teacher by trade and am currently working in a public elementary school as a student assistant with a third grader with learning disabilities. I am working on getting my state certification, so I can teach in the classroom again. I am also contemplating homeschooling my children in the near future.
I love sleeping in, scrapbooking, spending time with my family, singing (especially praise and worship music like this song), my grandson, Jesus and chocolate.
I hope you will visit again and enjoy the Blog Party!!

Oh sleeping in. It's a favorite of mine too! I'm currently trying to sleep in as much as possible as I"m expecting my first in July and I know that sleeping in will be a thing of the past for awhile!
Hope you're enjoying the party!

Welcome to MD! I have lived here for the past 10 years and came here via SC--so I understand a bit of the culture shock of leaving the south!!
Hope you can stop by my blog http://didoodlings.com
Who doesn't love sleeping in? It's a nice luxury that people with kids miss out on. Or at least at my house we do. Thanks for stopping by.
Visiting you back from the UBP. It sounds like you have a full and happy life, exactly what we all aspire for. Great to meet you.

I love sleeping in too although it's rare with a preschooler who has always been an early riser.
Good luck with your teacher certification. I love seeing women continually striving to do more.
Happy UBP!

Hello - I remember my first year like it was yesterday. I hope you have a great time! PArtyON!
I'm having a hard time focusing right now because your curly hair and sweet face remind me so much of my favorite English teacher in high school. Although Ms. Thornhill's hair was on the blonder side of brown. This was also in Maryland, which just makes it all the more mesmerizing. ;) Good luck getting your recertification so you can teach once again! #UBP12
Hi, stopping in from UBP! Love reading family blogs, being that I too blog about my family :)
